Guidelines
We require video of a subject from many different perspectives. Make sure to capture your subject from all angles. Record the video from above and below, as well as different sides.
Even, diffuse lighting is key to a good capture. If your object is reflective or shiny, try to diffuse the lighting as much as possible.
The video should encompass the entire object & it should fill at least 80% of the screen throughout the video to ensure best quality, otherwise there will be issues with consistency & geometry.
Remember to move the camera around the object with stability. Great captures are made by getting a subject from as many perspectives as possible!
Setting
- Ensure the subject is well-lit with white light and separated from the background
- Use diffused lighting for the best video capture
- Avoid places with inconsistent lighting changes
Recording
- Record in portrait/landscape mode with a minimum quality of 1080p
- Make sure the subject takes up at least 80% of the screen
- Keep the subject stationary; don't move or rotate it
- Maintain a consistent distance between the camera and the subject
- Record a 2 minute video, for videos more than 2 minutes only the initial 2 minutes will be processed
Angles
- Capture the subject from top, center, and lower angles for a complete 360-degree view
- The initial product viewing angle in the video will be the 3D model's viewing angle
